Should we really care about Pluto's demotion?

Some people take things too personal. I don't think we should be so much upset about Pluto being demoted to a "Dwarf Planet", after all Pluto is still in existence whether as a planet or not. What is your reaction towards Pluto's demotion?

I feel sorry for all those people now having to rewrite text books and the teachers having to remember to teach their classes about the universe without including pluto. this was my daughters fav planet so she was a bit upset at first.
