Well, it seems that we have a long way to go, as the candidates go from state to state, trying to win over voters.
They talk, they fight, they insult one another, then they all go have a beer together. What a show. And the press loves it.
I get weary listening to them talk about each other. They are snarky, sarcastic and demeaning. And it is almost like watching pro wrestling. It seems all so fake.
But it also reminds me of the playoffs. Which don't interest me, but it reminds me of sports in some ways.
I cannot tell what is real and what is Little Theatre. I guess to some degree, it's all just drama, and the one who acts the best, wins.
Our choices this year are frightening. It seems all of them have major flaws, so we just have to pick the one that we think might do the best job.

I've never been interested in politics until this year. I'm trying to follow the debates and caucuses, etc. closely. I have no idea yet who I'm voting for, if anybody for that matter, but I'm very interested in what is going on.

Our politicians are much the same - they bad-mouth each other and don't seem to have an original thought between them. I wouldn't be a politician for quids though just the same.
