The world if can only talk may surely say enough for your abuses. The latest fear and scare this 2016 is Zika Virus brought to the world through mosquitoes. This means to say that the world is so dirty, abused. What we do to our Mother Earth goes back to us. Those happily married and think to multiply ought to suspend their plans up to 2018. Should you violate the advise of the international health organization, then , face your own risk by having a baby born with a small head. There are many countries having mothers affected with Z virus. At first, it was not known why babies have small heads, then through researches, it was learned that the sole cause is the Zika virus from a mosquito contaminated through person to person.
Our country now is on red alert of Zika virus. We are advised to use mosquito repellent, clean the surrounding thoroughly, and if possible to wear long sleeve and pants.
It is also advised by our Department of Health to have an anti-virus injection. Are you affected with this kind of virus?

I have heard that some states have this Zika virus present. One of the states is Illinois. We have a large international airport so the risk is always there.

@fishtiger58, so true, hard to control and eliminate a virus. No matter how officials in airport monitor, sometimes they cannot monitor all.

I hope not. I have not gotten bitten by a mosquito in several years. I hope CDC and AMA and whoever else stays on this and it is eradicated.

@cacay1 ...I was sort of thinking this also, but, they are needed for other things. Zika isn't the only thing they carry.

The different between Zika and Malaria is the organism that causes the disease
For we Africa Malaria is a big problem due this bacteria causing this disease but for Latin America
the disease is due to the viral which transmitted by the mosquital like malaria the only difference is that this viral have more effect to human body than bacteria of malaria

The trouble is that these days with people travelling internationally more and more that diseases spread all over.
Apparently Zika virus has been known about for 70 odd years and where it was in Africa and Asia there must have been some resistance built up and these awful side effects did not occur. If I were of child bearing age and there is a good anti virus available I would take it
