It was none of those - it's great to be fancy free, but it's wonderful when you meet the love of your life and decide to spend the rest of your life with them.

@h4happy I can't speak for anyone else, but I knew when I met the right man. We've been married for 50 years.

@h4happy No offense but you could break up. The dating stage is for finding out if your partner is the right person.

Not until I turn 23 that I had a boyfriend. At my time, most girls have boyfriend and I don't. By the time I am single, It is a good and sad feeling that I wanted to have one but no ones come. I think it's better if I you have someone special in your life.

Everyone is different. Some people absolutely love to be single, some are desperate to be with someone and others are just easy going and will just go with the flow. Like the "whatever happens, happens" kind of attitude. For me, right now I don't want to be single because I love my boyfriend and really would be devastated if anything happened between us. Being single would make me depressed. Really depressed.

@VivaLaDani13 I love to be single. I feel free. I am not answerable to my "other half" which I like very much. Pffttt..... You are opposite of devastated. You were sad for little while yes but you iz fine and better off without him.

@Daljinder haha oh my god. Like reading an old diary! And yep. I am so happy with that....*tries thinking of a word*...everything I think is an understatement. Single is better unless...well unless there's Wes......

single life is good if you know to yourself you are not ready to enter a new chapter of your life. The chapter that we all know too many obstacles waiting for us but also includes the best moment we could ever have in our life...

Two is better than one. i'd been single and now am married and i never felt as wonderful as i am now. But two others being single is better because they either found the wrong partner or they have not really found a partner yet and already contented with their singlehood.

I was single for more than 30 years of my life, it was fun, enjoyed it to the max, I also enjoyed all the money i made for myself, I did and bought everything i could afford and fancy without guilt and i loved it, but I felt i was getting old so I have to move to the next phase of my life. Now that I am married and have children, it's another kind of happiness, If you have a happy marriage and have wonderful children, have a happy home, pray and go to church together etc... you will know what i mean.. I think life goes in stages and phases so it's very hard to compare different phases although there are over lapping sometimes.

Single life is good and all... but it could also get boring. It's necessary to have a little spice in life sometimes.
