I never know what day it is. Yesterday, I didn't realize it was my most favorite day of the week, Friday. But then again, every day is Friday to me.
Imagine my surprise when I received texts, photos, and videos from my son, his wife, and her mother, all from the ice skating event that my granddaughter was in. I thought the event was the next day!
We are thrilled to announce that she took second place!!! Her skate was beautiful and perfect to me.
We celebrated the occasion with a home cooked dinner at my brother's condo and plenty of wine!

Cute photo. It almost looks like she is holding one of the hangers in the background.

That's wonderful that she placed second, she looks so happy up there proudly displaying her new medallion.
I often forget what day of the week it is, but rarely do I manage that on a Friday. But then again, I haven't reached retirement yet either.

Thanks. She was thrilled considering the stiff competition. She performed her first salshow/toe loop combo and did an awesome spiral. Can't wait to gobble her up next week!
When I worked, Friday was all I could ever remember! Loved that day since I was my granddaughter's age.

@DianneN I love ice skating to watch not do. I know the names but all the jumps and stuff look the same to me. Even after all these years watching.
