Ever play pull tabs?

You know the lil card you buy for a dollar and you get like 5 chances to win something. Well the other week hubby was sent home early, it was slow.... shoot most of January he didn't work a full week. Well for kicks and since people have had lottery fever in recent weeks he bought a couple pull tabs and he won!!! He won!! It was a miracle that he won nearly what he makes in a week after his taxes, insurance ect. Of course I had to try one but no luck he tries another and wins $20 and then $2... he's got the magic touch. Now if we were that lucky all the time.

It's a card you buy from a machine (typically a gas station) for $1. It's a cardboard card that has I'd say 4-5 pull tabs on it, under the tabs is a series of symbols if you match 3 you get the prize listed on the back... sorta like slots machines with matching the symbols but it's on a card.

You must of had the same feeling of joy when you won that!?!! I was very excited because it made up for what he didn't earn so we could keep the bills up. Also, it has paid off better than playing the lottery or scratch offs that he likes.

@3SnuggleBunnies I did have a lot of joy. It would be nice if I could win that now though when I really need that money too. hehe. That's awesome that you got it right when you needed it. It's a blessing.

I haven't done the pull tabs in years. My first husband was a fanatic over them and would spend so much money on them. Years later I realized that he had a gambling problem (God rest his soul).
I am one that won't gamble my hard earned money on lottery tickets or other games of chance.

An aquaintance of mine had won a larger prize from a machine in recent weeks... so it is possible. Though I think the odds are better on those than playing the lottery.

We do not have pull tabs here but we have scratchers. 
The most I have ever won from scratchers is $100.

It's just a machine that some gas stations have that you pay the machine and it dispenses a ticket, if you win you go to the station clerk for your winnings.
