This morning I woke to the sunshine peeking through my curtains...., after a week of grey skies and blustery winds, and frequent rain, it was a lovely sight.
So.., as is my custom, I went down stairs and made a cup of tea, and took it back upstairs with me, I opened my curtains, and let in the light and sounds of this beautiful morning, and climbed back into bed, and just enjoyed looking out the window at the countryside, bathed in a lovely golden light from the sun...and listening to all the bird chatter....
It was lovely and restful, laying there nice and warm, sipping my tea...and letting it wash over me.... mmmmmmm....,
And then .... all too soon, my tea cup was empty, it was time to get up and start the day. I Was a little reluctant to leave my little haven. ... but work calls....

@Juliaacv. Thank you... yes its gale force winds and heavy rain....i'm. Fine...but i'm sure there will be a problem of flooding in some areas....

That is one thing I find here in Florida, even when it hasn't been very warm the sun has been shining and that makes winter a lot easier to emotionally deal with.
