Memories

Pictures are the keys to memories. Things that happened when I was looking for pictures, something that I always do when I look at them. Broke down and cried yesterday. Almost of my pictures that I have on my facebook account are me and my sister. My sister (the youngest) passed away three years ago at the age of 25, quite young right? Her death was surprising, unexpected, cardiac arrest while teaching. The pain of missing her a lot dawned on me all of a sudden, can not hold myself not to cry, no matter how i hold myself not to. It has been years, but still emotional remembering how we were together and that we can not have the same moments like we used to do. "Memories light the corners of my mind Misty water-colored memories of the way we were"--The way we were by barbra streisand

This happens to me also and I cry for a long time because I am missing them so much. Your sister passed at such a young age it must have been especially difficult for you.

@Lucky15 I hate to cry in front of anyone but it seems to be something I do in the comfort of my bedroom. It could be as we get older we get more emotional.

it is okay to cry, let those pain out for once in a while, though i have to admit i have been so emotional lately, maybe it has something to do with aging, haha

I am sorry for your loss. I know that the pain is still there. The only thing that we can hold on to is that she is now with the creator and living the best life.

Young dying of cardiac issues is becoming quite common here. Sorry to hear about your sister. Did she have any signs at all?

@Lucky15 Sometimes although there will be symptoms we do not pay attention. It is therefore necessary that we have our parameters checked periodically.

That is very young. So sorry about your sister. I cry when looking through my pictures as well. Both my parents are gone and all of my grandparents, too.

I am so sorry about your sister, she was so young, I cannot believe that a cardiac arrest can struck so young people.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your sister at such a young age. We too-often hear the cliché "cherish every moment..." but we never really pay much attention until it is often too late. Life is a precious gift. They say time heals all wounds, but I don't think that's necessarily true. Those wounds are with us forever, we just learn to cope with them. Luckily, you have many photographic memories of your sister to cherish, even though looking at them may be emotional. But it will help keep her memory alive in your heart and mind. God bless!

I am so sorry. It doesn't matter many years have passed, there will be sad memories - and hopefully happy ones - when you think of your sister.
