Forgot To Buy Coffee

Coffee

A few minutes ago, I just realize that I forgot to buy a new can of coffee when I went to the grocery a few days ago. Bummer! As the weather is supposed to be extremely cold for the next few days, I really do not feel like going back to the store. I guess we will have to use the Instant Coffee that I always keep in the cupboards just in case. Do not like the idea too much, but it will have to do. We must have been drinking more coffee than usual as I can't remember the supply going doing so fast before.

I don't like coffee myself, but my husband is quite content with the instant sort.

In some brands instant coffee is great. But in most cases it is just not worth drinking.

Can you order online? If you can, you just have to wait a day or two for the delivery.

@scheng1 But will the delivery be on time in extreme weathers? They too must have a tough time braving the weather.

@whiteream That is a pretty high consumption level. But guess the weather demands it.

My daughter makes very strong coffee. I would rather have a Latte. Or even Chai tea.

I always forgot something when I go to the Super, even if I take a list with me. Yesterday I forgot the eggs. I love eggs, but I will have to do with the few I have at the fridge.

But you do live in a warm country, so it's not too bad to go to the store right now. Here it is freezing right now.

Even if I do buy a bigger can, it will eventually run out. The thing is to write it down on my shopping list.

Haven't had Maxwell House instant for decades! Not familiar with Folgers. Occasionally I'll have a coffee out of the (free) dispensing machine at work, it is instant. The fresh coffee on offer is Bewley's or Grumpy Mule, both are quite good. At home, it's coffee from bean, milled prior to brewing or expressing.

My special indulgence is 'proper' coffee and now I'm quite spoiled and don't like to have to drink the instant stuff!

@Fleura Instant coffee can be treated only as an emergency alternative. It can never become real coffee.

I been drinking alot more coffee due to the weather being colder now. I ran out of my favorite cappuccino but atleast i have some flavor coffee i can drink til I make it back to the store again. Luckily my dad was out and about today and brought me coffee creamer so i didn't have to go out in the cold with being sick. I ran out this morning.
