Why music was better before I was born?

And why does it keep going worse since 1994? :( Okay there are some good songs and musicals like Wicked and Disney musicals. But othervise. :/

I really liked 80s music and some 90s music. Music not as good as anymore ;(

Me too. Jeff Scott Soto is one of my favorites. And then I liked Kirka. Kirka is Finnish dude whose singing is similiar to Jeff's.

mostly as there are fewer good composers - many singers rely on samples or cover versions and insist on adding rap beats to songs that really don't need them

Of course music is getting worse but people my age will always say that. However, there are no more composers like Gershwin, no Broadway musicals to match Rodgers and Hammerstein, no country artists to match Hank Williams and Patsy Cline and no rockers to equal Elvis and the Beatles.
