Yesterday my husband took the trash to the convenient center and then planned on picking up an onion for his cole slaw at Piggly-Wiggly in town. I was busy on the computer so I didn't really pay much attention to the time. I did think he was gone longer than normal, but that's as far as my concern went.
When he did get back he sneaked into the kitchen and I went to see what else he bought besides the onion. To my surprise he had stopped at the florist! Our anniversary was just two weeks ago and he got me flowers then. So I was definitely surprised to find a Valentine's Day bouquet on the kitchen counter!
He really is accumulating a lot of points with me!

@marlina He does the outside cooking I do the rest. He's the grill man, I'm the stove/microwave/oven lady.

@AbbyGreenhill I can fully appreciate that and it would be virtually impossible to acquire them on the actual day.

@AbbyGreenhill Do you remember about giving men brownie points but if they did something wrong they lost the lot? :)

Thanks....I have told me many times over the 18 years not to buy me flowers - I'd rather have a plant that lasts longer!

@AbbyGreenhill Mine always left whatever he bought out the night before so I would see it first thing in the morning. He never forgot a holiday or special occasion.
