The new Titanic 2 ship will offer 840 cabins and the capacity to host 2,435 with a crew of 900.
This stunning project to revive the RMS Titanic dream, is a brainchild of one of the richest people in Australia, a multimillion mining magnate and an adventurous visionary unmatched around the world-Clive Palmer.
The new Titanic 2 ship is expected to be launched in 2018.
The new ship will be 833 feet long, just three inches longer than the original and 13.9 ft wider in order to increase stability.
If you were handed a free ticket and all expenses paid, would you board the new ship, Titanic II?

I don't know. I'd like to look at it but being nervous on water anyway and whit it's history I don't know. Funny-- someone else posted one about the Titanic and it came up right after yours.

Hello marcyaz
I already mentioned on another such discussion that despite all things, if I do get a free entry, I will surely love going on one such ship. Agreed, I am scared of deep waters, and it might take a toll on my health as I have never been on any sea voyage, but that would definitely be worth an experience.

@Marcyaz Honestly, I am not that very sure. You know, I am scared of water reserves. Also, I have read about sea sickness plus, I have ailments that will prevent me from enjoying the food they would have on the cruise. But then, the other aspect is that I have never attempted it. So maybe I am thinking too much about it.
As for enjoying the experience, yes, it will be something that I will look forward to (if I ever could get a chance).

Yep all they have to think about is what happened with the first Titanic.

@Marcyaz I would most likely get motion sickness from it. But the fact that they renamed it the Titanic 2 really going to hit people the wrong way.

HAHA I see you posted the same topic as I did. I did NOT see this first I swear!
Anyways, no I would not. It seems like a beautiful luxurious ship, but knowing the past about the first 1, no thank you. I would not take that chance. I know you technically take that chance with any ship you get on, but considering the last 1 had a significant loss and impact on other people's lives, I'd still pass.

@DanieGirl80587 I saw your topic also same as mine but they are a little different in their content. I would not want to sail on that ship either just because of its history and I do not care to go on any cruises. Oh I just saw they are not going to launch now until 2018.

I think it would be fun. I heard about this quite awhile ago now and I thought it was really cool. As long as they don't go the same way like the first one lol

Even a free ticket wouldn't get me onto a cruise ship. That is something that hasn't ever interested me. I'd rather have the money of the price of the ticket and get in our car and go exploring. That is much more fun for me. Have a blessed day.

@Dean91 I am like you as I am not really interested in going on a cruise ship. Like you also I like going in my vehicle and seeing the countryside around where I am which to me is new and exciting enough. Thank You and you also have a blessed day.

@Marcyaz however the presence of Leo Di Caprio would ruin everything :)

I think that I'd pass, I have a weak stomach.
I think that out of respect for so many that were lost, and for so many that lost loved ones, they could have used another name for the ship. Its like someone building sky scrapers and calling them the names of the towers that came down in New York, its just something that bothers me. But, I'm probably a minority on the name thing, we'll see what others think.

@TypicalRussian Yes in some cases history does tend to repeat itself.

I am not sure I would. There have been many problems with cruise lines these days. I am very weary of vacationing on a ship.

@whiteream It is really happening and I think they say the ship is being built someplace else.

Of course I would! It'd be so fun and it's highly unlikely that what happened the first time will happen again. If its freeing taking it

@PrincessTi Well then let's hope it is free for you and what happened the first time wouldn't happen again.
