Do you remember when you were a kid, and you would be able to see who was at who's house by the bikes parked in the front yard? I feel those days are long gone for my kids. Now its what game do you have on your tablet, and texting on mobile phones. I have a 13 year old daughter, and this Christmas my husband and I agreed on getting her, her first cell phone. And even being 13, she was one of only a couple in her grade that didn't have one earlier than that age. I think that technology is taking away our kids having social skills and an imagination! If my 4 and 2 year old are always on a device playing games, they will never have the experience of using their imagination for playing cars and barbies.

Yeah, I do remember that. OUr bikes were like our cars. I think kids should not get electronics until they absolutley need them

I think you and many others are experiencing the same problems. Kids need to be able to use computers and all the latest technology but it does seem to take over.
