I just read a post by brendamarie @whiteream that was a pet photo challenge and it was originally started by @JolietJake so I thought I would join in the challenge. As most of you know, I have two dachshunds. In the picture, Bella is the chocolate brown and tan and Daisy is the light red. They had just woke up (look at Bella's sleepy eyes) and were still sleepy and all snuggled up together. It doesn't happen often that they snuggle like that so I had to take the picture.

@garymarsh6 Thanks Gary! I love cats as well but my oldest dog Bella hates cats and my brother is allergic so we can't have one.

@JudyEv Most dachshunds are a little bow legged and when they walk, their hind legs looks like they are walking on their tiptoes.

I love the name Bella also. She was kind of a rescue dog and was already named so I kep the name.

Yes, they really do IF they are still. Mine want to run around so much that I can't always get the picture I want.

They are very close. We have had Daisy since she was 8 weeks old and Bella treats her like she is her baby.

nice picture. unfortunately I do not have or owned a pet before. I would love too during my younger years but I have asthma and my grandmother does not allowed me too. Now, even if I want to have one, I chose not too. This is merely because I do not know how to take care of them.

They are my favorite breed. They are so small yet thing they are tigers, not afraid of anything. They are so loving and are great company for me.
