Brrr Bundling Up to go Out

This morning my oldest daughter and I are going out to breakfast and then we're headed to the cheese factory that is about 15 miles away. I love going to breakfast. I love spending time with my daughter and I haven't been to the cheese factory in quite a while so I'm anxious to go there as well. The only thing about this little trip I don't like is that it is -1 F right now with a 'feels like' of -16 so baby it is COLD outside!! Picture is my daughter with her son, my first grandchild

Yikes -1! I will pass :) We used to get dressed and go out almost anyday, rain or snow, cold or hot, but every since the baby was born last summer and my oldest started preschool we find ourselves staying home more. My oldest has been sick soooo much since she started school that now we try to stay home and stay warm :) I hope you had fun!

I generally stay home if it is too cold or snowy...somehow this daughter manages to get me out at the worst weather. LOL Sadly when children start school they seem to get everything that is going around (new teachers as well) until they build up an immunity. My first year in daycare was awful!! I really did have a good time and the cold wasn't as bad as it sounded.

@kamel622 Sounds like fun :) I'm glad you had a good time! And yes it is an immunity building year so I've been told, I'm hoping the sickness is less every year so we can enjoy going out again!

What a wonderful way to spend Valentines morning. I wish I could be with my daughter but we will have to wait til we get back home in March.

It really was nice especially she has started a new job and we don't get to spend as much time together as we used to.

@kamel622 I know that feeling, I was the granny nanny for 2 years and we had lunch together 3 days a week and it was lovely. I sure miss it now.

Thank you so much. It was nice and great to just be my daughter and me..usually hubby is with us too and while I love him it is nice to occasionally get out without him.

We've made it up to 16 and it really doesn't feel awful out there...and since it is just getting in and out of the car it wasn't bad...we even made a WalMart run too.

Nice picture. I hope you enjoyed breakfast with your daughter. My daughter and son-in-law took me out to dinner on Friday.

We had a great time...I didn't even mind the cold, too much. Glad you got to go out with your daughter too...such special times.
