Do you often find yourself in a leadership postion?
I am often being asked my opinion on different subjects and I answer to the best of my ability.
Is it because I remember a persons name and use it when talking with them or I remember their childs name and some things about their family.
When you use a person's name it identifies them as a unique individual.
Do you have leadership skills? If so what are they?

I do have them, or at least I did.
I had it at my job.
But I was quiet about it, quietly going about my work.
I did many things others would not do, so that qualifies me as a leader, though I was not recognized for it.

It is too bad you were not recognized for those leadership skills although I am sure it was noticed.

I guess I could be a leader ... but, I prefer to stay back a little to watch, listen ... know what everyone wants. Then ... I know what to do :)

I am the matriarch of my family. I live with my daughter and am helping her raise her son. She is bi-polar and a Libra so I help her stay on track and make the hard decisions a single parent has to make. Leadership can be tough when you are used to making all the decisions when she was a child and now having to be careful and just help her make them now.

This is a good question and I'm not really certain if I know the answer. I don't like taking the role as the leader because I don't like all the attention all on me or telling people what to do.
But at the same time, I remember peoples names, stories and do try to help people out whenever I can. Not sure if that counts for anything or is good enough to be a leader though.

Not all leaders have the same way of doing things but you sound like you would be good at it once given a chance.

Before I never realized that I have leadership skills, I am a phlegmatic type of a personality, however, people want me in the position to lead people. I just grab it, then until now I lead small groups, good thing is they listen.

@dhoyreg23 Small groups lead to larger groups and people will just naturally listen to you.

@Marcyaz wow, that's big thing. If God wills it, I really just want people to grow and more successful. Though tough challenges ahead.

I do depending on the situation. Everyone comes to me at work for help since I know my stuff well and I feel like i'm doing something right when I can answer and help them out. Doesn't just happen at work though anywhere else I may be.

My days of leadership are over and done with, since I retired. I had been an officer in several charities and led groups at work. You are right. To be a leader, you need to have the know how, and people skills. My hubby is a born leader.
