What in the world is going on with the weather in the US. Here in Indiana, we have seen it go from 60s on Christmas (which hasn't happened in over 100 years) to today it is 1 degree outside. We have had a super mild winter. Now, middle of February, when it is suppose to be in the 40s here... the wind chill today is -18.

We've seen 40's and now this past weekend it was in the negatives. Today we have a storm warning of up to a foot of snow lucky us. Such a strange winter I can't wait for spring.

The weather has been pretty nutty this year. Here it is in the 40s which is about 15º above normal for this time of the year. Just before Christmas we had a couple of big snowstorms so we had about a foot of snow on the ground for Christmas. Then it turned really cold and stayed that way through the middle of January. Then it started warming up. It's supposed to get up to 50º or so in the next couple of days. Mother Nature must be having a bad year controlling herself.

I agree! I get excited when for a few days it is in the 50s, then the next morning I wake up to discover the doors are frozen shut and I am a prisoner in my home lol.

@thash1979 That's a terrible thing to wake up to. It's forecasted to get up to 55º here today. Very unusual. The normal for this time of the year here is around 35º. I would say I'd like to go out and play in the sun, but it's cloudy and forecasted to rain. Or as the weather man says–liquid sunshine. It can all be blamed on El Niño.
