I am not sure what is happening in India. To understand the students I need to understand the slogans. Violence on any level is not the way to evoke change. However if someone has a voice to say for example they are against something like nuclear waste dumps, I think that is something that can be raised with a democratic government.
Another thing students can question is how a government is handling events is something that is always open for peaceful debate.
As for a terrorist I want to learn if the rising unrest is really about this one terrorist or the criminal acts he did or about something the students are unhappy about concerning their country?

Yes since I can't understand Hindi I got lost after zinabomabbi.
In all seriousness, so you understand @anu5588 please know I value every opinion of writers even on the street level. What I mean by person on the street is how everyday people think about things and what they express. It is not always news I want to listen to because that reporting is often professional without emotion.

In India we all have freedom of expression and freedom of speech but then our constitution also states some duties. Here so many are shouting about their rights but what about duties. two group of people can have different sets of opinion but raising slogans like we will struggle till India is destroyed is moronic. JNU students receive grants from the same Indian government against whom they were raising slogans. They should thank their lucky stars that they are not in our neighboring countries like China and Pakistan or let's say U.S.A otherwise they would have known how all your rights are seized.
