It is said that every person has certain ability that makes them standout in the crowd. Some people are aware of it, while some are not. I often wonder, how do we know what is special about us? Who will help us find out? May be our parents, but no, they just love us so much that whatever we do, we are THE BEST for them. Even I don't know what my goal in life is, what talent I have? Its easier to say that you know better than anybody. You know what you love doing. But what if I love doing a lot of things but I am not good at any. Would a psychic know that? Why do people go to these psychics? Is there a way to help people know what's special about them? If there is, I am all ears.

I couldn't follow my talents/ passion when young; I liked to interact and help people. Now I am semi-retired so I have time to pursue them. I have been spending all my spare time at online sites. You should look for what interests you and then put your best efforts in them - siva

A lot of things interests me, that's exactly my point siva, I am unable to pinpoint any one. How do I do that? It s like I am Jack of all trades but master of none.

@rashkhan I have a flair for languages - in fact, I am fluent in three and can manage another two. I became a professional accountant as I wanted a steady job as accountants are first to be hired and last to be fired! I was also interested in many subjects, politics, business, human relations, I started at inline sites five years ago. I have written 700 articles starting with Associated Content, Yahoo Contributor Network, Bukisa, Wikinut and now MyLot. You can share your thoughts Rashida to start a discussion and should not worry for any negative feedback as we are only responsible for our habits - siva

@Shiva49 Thankyou siva. I needed a little help. I am planning to write a book, I have an idea of a story in my mind. But how do I expand it.

I know more things I'm not good at than things I do well, tap-dancing, embroidery, starting revolutions - just some of the things I'm rubbish at plus singing

My only talent is being good with children. I love teaching them new things.
