" I'm not the father!"

What would you do if the man you have a baby with said these words? It seems many take him to The Maury Show. I hope I had the courage to just get his current address and his medical history and put it in a safe place. Raise my child alone or with someone else and when the child turned 13 I would give him/her all the facts I have about their father. What about you?

This will be so hurtful. I think the one who said this only shows one fact, he doesn't love me and he is not responsible to it. If so, there is no more better choice for me but have to bring up the child alone. And one day he will be sorry to abandon us.

Maybe , or maybe not. Many a man over here walk away and never look back unless the child becomes famous.

I rather raise a child alone than try to force a sperm donor be a father or the banker. I heard of a sad tale where the mother was fighting over child support and the " father" killed her and their child. It takes two to make a child but sadly only one to raise these days. It has to be in his heart to help raise his child. if it isn't , it isn't but the child will know the health facts and the last known address so when the time comes it will be he child who informs the " father" how his actions hurt, not me.

Just get a DNA test and don't go on TV. There's no point washing your dirty laundry on national TV.

These days with DNA, paternity is determined with certainty. A man can't play the I didn't do it game and walk away scot free.
