Interesting Architechure Challenge

I've been lurking on here a bit today, and wanted to post something' but didn't have anything specific in mind. So I'm doing a photo/description challenge about architecture because reasons. This is a photo of a sculpture in my community near the water. It was sort of nestled away when I happened across it while on a walk. I thought it looked neat at that time of day, so I snapped a picture. I guess it serves as a reminder of discovery on that little adventure I took. I welcome people to write about or share photos of their own unique architecture. Maybe there's a building or landmark just waiting for you to share its story. :-)

The things we have here are old houses. Built during the spanish regime.

That is a very interesting sculpture. What is it supposed to represent?

I'm not sure. There's a few modern-type sculptures in that neighboorhood. It's a well-to-do area.
