Bleurgh...

... is exactly how I'm feeling right now. My head feels like it's in an ever tightening vice and my neck, armpits and groin feel like they're having hot pokers repeatedly inserted into them. There are only two possible causes for this. Well three actually, but as Madame Dominique was fully booked for the foreseeable future, unless I've benefited from a cancellation it's down to two. So I'm either bravely battling the most horrendous bout of man flu, so bravely that minstrels will write songs about me, or I've been badly wrong my entire life and I've died and am currently being punished for my mortal sins. I really hope Madame Dominique has managed to fit me in. At least that pain only lasts an hour. Or two if I'm a bit flush!!!

Man flu, eh? I assume it's the flu women recover from but men are afraid of dying from.

It's the one that women never get. If they got it they would die from it but men usually pull through.

Sounds nasty. Are you hitting the pain-killers? And maybe some chicken soup. That seems to be a panacea for lots of things.

Unfortunately, the legendary restorative properties of chicken soup aren't available to me. I'm vegetarian.

Man flu is far worse than the standard flu that women get. In fact it could be fatal if a women were to catch it
