Just wondering about things

Did you ever just wonder what to write? I have written so much for school and work sometimes I do not think I can write anymore. I look through my old and new notes and sometimes something catches my eye and in a blink it goes away. I continue looking through all my materials and I decide to share a topic about a children's book that I read that maybe a teacher or parent would find interesting or maybe I will share and critique an article from a conference I went to or maybe just share an activity that I used to do as an activities assistant. At times I have so many ideas I do not know what to do, so what would you do in my situation.

My problem is actually starting. Once I start writing, it is hard for me to stop. lol So many times I have written posts here or on facebook and ended up deleting them because they are so long and maybe slightly veering off topic! I do get so many things racing around my head that I'm guessing sometimes my posts, comments, etc. come off as random. But typically if I include something in a posting I am including it as part of my thoughts about whatever I am commenting on. I have some trouble organizing thoughts and ideas, so that can make it erratic at times as well. lol I would love to be able to write professionally, but, I would have to get better with sticking to one message at a time and organizing ideas better! This is my first time back to mylot in years, and I've already responded to several posts. I remember why I spent so much time here before. I love to write, but I often feel like I will annoy people. But I know at mylot, the whole point is to have a conversation, to write, to comment, to respond. And I hope people don't get annoyed by my posts, but as long as I'm following the rules, being nice, and enjoying it, I feel good about it. :) But definitely. My problem even writing in school was actually getting started, knowing what I was going to write about. Once I know that the words flow out from my fingertips! Then again, I was one who would know about a paper for a month +, and the night before it's due finally the inspiration hits me and I end up with a good grade even though I procrastinated! lol

Take a break? I feel stranded at times and walk away but then come back to writing.

If you're not sure what to write, maybe you just need to take a break. Do something, or respond to other people's discussion, or go for a walk, or something. Maybe that's what you need.

You have to release some of those ideas. If you try to get one or two out then you won't feel so overwhelmed. It seems as if you may have a niche for reviews.

I have written seven hundred articles on various sites - AC/YCN, Bukisa, Wikinut and now I am here. It is easier to put up discussion topics in an hour than what it used to take three hours for an article. Frankly, I love the interaction and some of mine are much longer than some discussion topics! I note down as things materialize in my mind. When I am finished with responding I post mine - siva

Take a minute and think through a particular idea that you find more fascinating than the others. If you do this daily, you will have a different discussion for each day.

I enjoy learning about people's lives, I'm not interested in reviews etc.

Write down those ideas and store them for later. Go after the one idea that resonates with you the most.

I don't wonder what to write. Mostly I respond to other peoples discussions and if I have an idea for a discussion of my own I'll write it. If you have loads of ideas write them down for later use and just go on other peoples discussions.
