Scalia Death handled poorly

As soon as I heard of the death of Justice Antonin Scalia, I knew there would be accusations of wrongdoing. It is a rather sketchy story. As soon as I heard that there was no autopsy, and that he was pronounced dead over the phone, without even viewing the body, I knew there would be trouble, not that there would not have been under the most ideal of circumstances. Still, I think there should be a hard and fast rule that any high-ranking government official who dies unexpectedly should be required to have an autopsy, just to make sure. It seems incredible that anyone should treat it so carelessly. I don’t think the judge was murdered, even though I’m sure there are plenty of people who could benefit from his death. It leaves the country in a precarious position. He was certainly a strong voice on the Supreme Court, the deciding vote in a number of high-profile cases. How do you feel about the death of Antonin Scalia?

I agree that high-profile people should have an autopsy so that suspicion and rumour doesn't get a hold.

@norcal I think the family of a deceased not the government should decide if an autopsy sbould be done

I'm surprised that an autopsy wouldn't be protocol.
