Why you don't speak English - Game streamers problems

People who know me now that I love playing computer games, and sharing the fun. These people also know that I love talking and never shut up. However I keep facing same problem every time I stream. Usually when I start stream I speak either Finnish or English, depending of the mood. When ever I start with Finnish I find out that lots of English speakers start watching my stream and ask me if I could speak English instead. Same happens with Finnish people if I start streaming in English. Either way when I start streaming I keep switching the language between what people hope me to do and then I notice they soon loose interest on stream. This is really confusing. Just gonna hope that someone creates app that translates your speech in air into different language text, and I mean translation that works. Google translation does not work. Anyone else have similiar problems and what you suggest I should do with them?

Maybe your chat room should have that filter for different languages. You can check babel.com I think that might help you out with your issue.

That could be part of solution but still there is that problem that when you see Finnish people on your stream commenting Finnish you also wanna start talking Finnish to them. Same goes with English speaking people. Most of English speaking people dont speak Finnish.

@Varjokani The best thing to do is to write your message in both language. That way, everyone can understand you.

@cherriefic Ya, but when its about livestreaming a game usually you dont have time to write but you wanna talk to people. I had situation like this a minute ago when I streamed. In the end I started to talk Finnish to English friend of mine in skype.

You are right. Maybe I should sometimes give Youtube automatic translation a try. But atm I dont trust it.

Being truly bilingual is a great problem to have.
