What ? Haircut Again !

@Daljinder Wow, that is nice to know about your religion . So, what happened adversely , when you trimmed it secretly ?

Really ? So you never have your hair cut or even just trimmed a bit ?

@SIMPLYD According to our religion we aren't even allowed to touch scissors to our hair... We abide by 5K's: 'Kesh' meaning hairs (maintain long hairs for both men and women) 'Kanga' meaning a comb (a small one always kept with men or some women) 'Kachh'(Mainly men thing) 'Kada' meaning a single metal bangle (to be always worn by both men and women as a sign of our religion) 'Kirpan' meaning a small holy knife... It's for protection of others irrespective of caste, color, religion, etc and also for defense NEVER for violence. It's stated strictly in our religion. I had got my hair trimmed only 3 times in my whole life *secretely* at first but later disclosed it...

But how often do you need to have a haircut too ?

@Yar_Joey I think having a semi-kal haircut is the answer to a very hot weather .

@SIMPLYD when it is hot, my friend, I let my hair cut by the barber. Now, I cut it again, I am now semi-kal (semi-kalbo). . But I protect my head with a bonnet when I go out of the house to attend meetings

@kevin1877uk If i convert it to our currency which is 705 pesos , it is expensive . A haircut here is only about 50 pesos in an ordinary hair salon .

That way , at least you don't spend much on a haircut . Is haircut expensive there ?

@SIMPLYD No, my hair is short and it seems to grow a lot faster than when I wore it longer so I have to get it cut pretty frequently.

Do you mean it should be cut every month not every 2 months ?

@SIMPLYD Yes my cut grows out after 6 weeks really. I don't think I've had it cut since before Christmas now. Saving pennies. But I feel like I look untidy.

@paigea Indeed , i feel the same way when my hair is already long , i seem to look messy and also old.

@SIMPLYD Longer hair tends to be more obvious now that I am older, probably since it is not as thick or heavy.

So that's on the average of every 3 months that you have a haircut . Just like my husband , who wouldn't have his hair cut unless i told him too . And i would tell him that he looks more handsome and younger in shorter hair .

So he is one of those men who have a few hair only as they say .

Wow really ? It means to say you eat a lot of foods that helps in keeping the hair and scalp healthy .

Doesn't it grow long when you have your cut at least twice a year ?

@SIMPLYD Not too bad if it is cut short to begin with.

You every 6 months ? Then your hair would be too long already . Me , i think every two months , which remind me to have it cut so no split -ends . So, your brothers too , twice a month . Then , i guess it's a natural thing that FIL wants his haircut every two weeks .

Can you say that it grows fast or slower , when it's that long now ? Why do you act boyish when you don a short hair ?

@ridingbet I was also when we were in high school . I had some crushes . Maybe because we are all in an exclusive school for girls run by nuns .

@SIMPLYD I am boyish, actually, that is why I want to have longer hair so I will be "girl-y" again. hahahah!

Then it goes to say , your hair doesn't have enough nutrients to make them grow fast .

Actually he said , his head becomes itchy when the hairs are growing again . Just like you i like my husband hair trimmed too , because like you said , he also looks younger and more handsome when his hair is shorter . But just like your husband he would go to the barbershop about every two months only .

Oh how nice to have a relative who is a hairdresser and gives you a free one like that .

Yes , he pampers himself with haircut .

I think you men , likes the feeling of your head , light , as i do want with m hair too. That's why i would like to have it short , above or just shoulder length .

Wow , once a month . Then , it is budgeted every month for that . As to the beard , that's true with men as my husband always do that every morning too. And that's too industrious of you to shave all the hairs in your body .

Now , basing from comments here , i know that men want to have a haircut at least twice a month .
