I just saw some youtube video about this girl who talked about her armpit story. She was quite funny and i kind of can relate to her. Having armpit hair for girls can be really troublesome. Her solution in the end was having the hair removed via laser hair removal which cost a lot... It got me thinking about it too, it can solve a lot of things... no more shaving, waxing, bleeding, dark underarms...but it costs a lot money. Have you ever done this before? Is the hair forever gone?

I haven't experienced arm pit hair waxing. Fortunately, my arm pit is clean , no hair, naturally barren, lol.

I have not, but my niece tried, she had 10 laser treatments. The hair has thinned a lot, but they are not fully gone.

Experienced it down there. I tried once to because it is in a promotional value. First they will shave-off the hairs, put some gels and then the laser will do the job. All you can feel is warmth of the laser apparatus. Then it the new hair growing will just fall of at the certain length. It is around more than 10 sessions. If you do not complete it, the hair will of course again. :)

Oh, hair on armpit. That's always the problem of my three girls. My eldest said she will undergo laser if she has the money. But for now. They just waxed them. I have no idea if laser is effective.

I had 6 laser treatments and 3 ipl's when I wanted rid of my chest hair a few years ago. Certainly thinned it but you have to have repeat treatments so the laser zaps the hair in the correct stage of growth. Wasn't massively expensive and did work.

laser treatments cannot claim to be painless. For most people, the laser treatment produces an irritating or painful feeling similar to the snap of a rubber band against the skin or a series of pricks with a warm needle. (Laser hair removal for people with darker skin may be more difficult and more painful.) The treated area will probably swell, turn red, or become slightly discolored for one to three days. With proper treatment, blistering shouldn't occur. Permanent scarring or discoloration is rare. For people with herpes, laser treatment can trigger an outbreak, so an antiviral medication may be given beforehand.Laser hair removal is technically more of a "permanent reduction" of hair than a permanent removal- the hair grows back, in most cases, but much finer and less densely. If you're young, new hairs (that never received treatment) may grow in over time, so it's difficult to say if you'll see TOTALLY PERMANENT removal, but hairs that have been destroyed by the lasers will remain destroyed. That, much, will not change.so its not the perfect way
