My brother finally got another job! All he has to do is wait for the results of his drug and background tests which will be no problem.
The property he will be managing will be in Louisville, Kentucky. The apartments are the standard ones, no more student housing. Yay!
Right now, they are saying that they want him to start the second week in March. Once his drug and background tests come back, they will give him an exact date to start.
He is so excited! He can finally get away from the employees who has made his life hell for over a year now. I'm excited for him and for us. I've never really been to Kentucky before. My brother has lived there before and said they have the Kentucky Derby there in Louisville so that is exciting.
We will be a little further away from my kids and grandkids, about 5 hours, but that still isn't too bad. We can still visit with them over weekends.
Our prayers have been answered and I am so happy!

Louisville (Lewville) was one of the places we visited. There is a nice museum at Churchill Downs. Also one about Louis and Clark across the river in Indiana.

The last time I was in Louisville was in 1977--bet it has changed a lot since then but I am sure the Kentucky Derby is just as much fun!!!

I am so happy for you and your brother and you will love Louisville, Kentucky as it is beautiful country. Won't it be amazing if you can watch the Kentucky Derby while living there? I have always wanted to see the Derby but never made it. I am so excited for you and your brother.

@simone10 Oh okay...your brother. I am glad your brother found a new job. My brother live next door to me, and helps my husband and I out sometimes. I am sorry you are disabled, but it is good that your brother is there to help you.

@simone10 Sounds like you have a close family. I have a close family as well. My parents took my eighty year old aunt in, and we all help out as much as possible.
I am glad you have a nice brother.

@fishtiger58 I know, it really does. It can be quite overwhelming if you let it.

@simone10 Packing is awful. You just don't know how much stuff you have until you have to pack it. Then it seems never ending.
