Ice skating - have you skated on a frozen lake?

Skating - Skating on a frozen lake - it's a wonderfull feeling, gliding along almost weightlessly over the ice!

One of the things I love with winter is that you can go out skating on the lakes, when they have frozen. I love the feeling of being almost weightless, just gliding on the ice... Have you skated? And if so, have you skated on a real frozen lake, or only on ice rinks made for skating on?
