Death Valley Moving Rocks

Time for a little education and mystery. All across the history of this planet, scientists have tried to answer strange occurrences that take place. One of those has been how it is possible for rocks that weigh hundred of pounds to move across the floor of Death Valley with no apparent assistance. With Death Valley being one of the largest and hottest deserts, it is strange to see snake-like trails behind these huge rocks. No it's not a foot-print of some creature pushing the rocks.
