A few months ago during National Pizza Month - Sammy's Woodfired Pizza & Grill - one of my favorite spots had daily giveaways! Each day during the National Pizza "Month" at random times, they would post up a question. If you were the first to comment with the correct answer, you will win a $25 voucher! This was my first giveaway I have ever won so it was very exciting. This afternoon, my boyfriend and I had lunch at Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza and Grill. It was quite short staffed this afternoon too so service wasn't that great as the usual but our food was tasty which is all that mattered. When we first arrive - there is complimentary bread, crackers and butter upon request and of course I request it! It's really tasty and free, so why not!? Then for an appetizer, I ordered one of my favorites which is the Garlic Cheese Bread, essentially a cheese garlic pizza! Then for our entrees - we ordered the Flat Iron Steak (Herb roasted fingerling potatoes, asparagus, tomatoes, herb oil) and Oak Roasted Salmon Filet (On Asian salad, edamame, cucumber & ponzu sauce).
