For some reason, my husband got a copy of Justin Bieber's latest album, Purpose, last year. To be honest, I didn't like Justin and his music so I put off listening to the album. All that changed when I listened to the song Sorry and watched its music video. I gave the album a chance.
What do you know, it's actually a good album! Even the slower songs were nice (aside from the one Ed Sheeran, my imaginary BFF, wrote).
I think I've become a Belieber. Uh oh.

@moonchild117 Not really, he is a fine lad, even tho it seems he got into a bit of a tizz for a bit there. He is very talented lad, he is a bit young for me, but Ill take him hahah

First of all, I have to get used to things here, been off the site for a few days and come back to this, and I have no notifications, which seems very odd.
Now, I seen his movie, and thought he is pretty cool, seemed nice, then all of a sudden he became the wild child, and it was a turn off for me, I haven't heard anything new he has made in a long time.

I haven't seen his movie, though. But yeah, he had a rough time before. Hopefully that's all behind him now. He's really doing well with his new album, try to listen to one of his new songs like Sorry and Love Yourself.

I'm in my mid-30s and have 2 kids (the eldest, at 6, is a Directioner already), but I think I've become a fan of the Biebs because of this album.

I think he really does have a nice voice and some of his songs are pleasant. But he really let his popularity go to his head. Hopefully he has done a lot of growing up because his past few years behavior was just horrible.

I like music but I have a prejudice against Justin Bieber as I think that he´s a very spoiled kid, no matter what else. So I will NOT spend my time listening to his music.

The same thing happened to me. There's a song of his on the radio, "Love Yourself," that I actually like. I had no idea it was him when I first heard it. I'm not going to go out and buy a Justin Bieber album, but compared to the other stuff the teeny bopper/hip hop radio station was playing (I had a kid client with me), it was pretty good.

Yeah, that song is really good. I don't know, maybe I'm biased because Ed Sheeran wrote that song (if I were to have a celebrity BFF, I'd like it to be him, LOL ). But all the songs in the album are good, too. It's a very well-produced album.

True. The kinds of songs and his voice before didn't really resonate well with others. This one, though, he sounds more matured and his songs have great melody.

lol I have become a fan as well. I didnt listen to his music because at the time my niece was a huge fan.. and she was six. So i figured it wasn't the type of music id like. But to my surprise he is really soulful and has an amazing voice'.

Before, he was too teeny bopper for me. His new album, though, has a more mature sound. Better, too. It's a nice album to play while driving.

@moonchild117 I agree but now his music is even something my mother would listen to. I love it. I dont think he gets the recognition he deserves.
