Downstairs Neighbor

My neighbor is being evicted and I feel so sad. She is in her late 70's and in a rehab in Brooklyn, NY. Her grandaughter was suppose to bring her rent to the office, but she is young and apparently very irresponsible. I notified her, daughter about the notice on the door and someone took some things out but left the rest.
I hate to see her belongings being thrown out, which is what they will do here very soon. We got along so well.
I have to sadly write that my downstairs neighbor Christine passed away in April a few weeks shy of her 76th birthday. RIP my friend.

She and I have been friends for over 15 years. I watched her grandkids grow up. Simply sad.

I think her family has come to an agreement with management. I am hoping her belongings are removed by her family in a decent way. She is staying with family now, so she will be ok.

I feel terrible. Some young people don't care.

I hate the way management just throws things on that truck.
