You know , for the last few weeks . I have been looking for employment. I have had a couple of interviews and had some potential possibilities. what I don't understand is, Why do companies call you for an interview and tell you they will get back to you and never do. then when you see the manager in the place where you had the interview, they asked how did it go? you tell them it went well but I still havent heard anything. they they tell you they still are looking for help. if you are, well, Call back the people who want to work and do something possibly good for your company. Have a nice day.

I know exactly what you mean. If you do not find some candidate appropriate, at least let them know why. I love companies that respond to you, whether you get selected for a job or not. It is basic professional courtesy.

Yes Courtesy is always a plus but hardly ever happens. I think one time I got a letter from a company telling me I did not get the job

@Metsrock69 Yes, and that would be a rare incident too. I do not think I have ever heard back from any company that didn't want to hire me. It was assumed that if you didn't hear back, you did not get selected. But we never know how long to wait to hear back, do we? Some say a week, some say two weeks.
