Been away for a while

I've been gone a while, a few weeks I think, and I come back to a much different looking site. From what I've seen it looks good, but I haven't played around much yet. Is everything still the same, with just the updated look, or are there other changes too?
I've been trying to spend less time on the computer lately, so I haven't been coming on here in the afternoons. Unfortunately that's the only time I go on the computer, so it means I haven't been on here at all. Also, though I haven't been spending time here, I have still been on the computer, just on other sites, mainly Pinterest. I will mean to only be on there a few minutes and pretty soon an hour is gone. Sounds like how my time on here goes. I need to find a better balance of my time. Time on here, but also getting stuff done off line too. I'm off today because my son has a doctor's appointment, so maybe I will spend some time on here today. I've missed all my friends and it would be nice to catch up with them again.

I come on here after lunch since it's the only time I have to myself. I do know that if I come on here I will probably be on here until I have to leave to pick up hubby from work, we share a car, so I don't come on at all if I want to get anything else done between lunch and picking him up.

You don't have to apologzie for not being here, as our lives don't revolve around mylot, and so therefore, we will spend a few hours in here and do other things too./ I live alone and I have all the time in the world to be in here. I do enjoy mylot a lot and I want to be here as much as I can. With the new site, I am finding it harder to leave the site. Time does get away from me as well, as I will be working when all of a sudden it is lunch time, and I eat and come back, and work again, and then supper comes quick too, and then I eat again, and come on for a bit before i quit for the night.

@fawkes62 I can understand that one. I live alone, so I don't have anyone that I have to account for, so I can be on here all day and all night if I choose to. I do have a life outside of mylot as I have errands to run and other things to do, so I do take breaks periodically as I do need to do that, as it refreshes my mind and that is a good ting. Otherwise, when I do post, I try to do as much as I can.

I like it on here, I just need to find more of a balance than I have right now. The only time I come on is between lunch and leaving to get my husband (we share a car) and there are times I want to do other stuff and this site. Unfortunately there isn't enough time to do everything I want in that short period of time.

I think the new look just came online today. Yesterday, it was a different site. I have been off mylot for a long time and only came back after about a couple of years. I was surprised it is still here. I remember it had changed some concept and become some other kind of site, so I had stopped participating. Glad to be back.
Pinterest is a great site, but I hardly ever go online, because I know that once I do, it will be hours before I log off. So many things to explore. Mostly I follow food, recipes and DIY stuff. What about you?

@fawkes62 I couldn't agree more. I am online about 3 hours everyday, which is early in the morning when I get up. After that, I am off the computer for the rest of the day doing other things. Sometimes it is hard to find that balance.

I wondered how you were doing. I hope you don't stay away for long. The new look popped up yesterday and I'm loving it so far. Take care of yourself and know you are missed.
