Work last night.... UGH! :(

Had to work last night from 5-10pm, but, didn't get off until close to 1am this morning. LOL Long hours last night, but, that's OK. I'll get a better check next paycheck. :) So, the reason why I had to stay longer was because we had an inspection to come today by two very important people of the Sonic Drive-In business. One of them I know already, and he's the district manager. But, the other one is over him! So, those two will be here today, well, probably already gone by now. But, they came today at the store to inspect the cleanliness of the store. All store in my area was getting hit by these two gentlemen today. We've got 3 Sonic Drive-In stores in my hometown, that is close to me. One on the west part of town, closer to where I live, and than the one where I work at, and than one near the mall in Kingsport, TN. Of course, the other cities have a Sonic store also, but, IDK if these two gentlemen will be visiting their stores also. I haven't heard. But, anyways, I had to work over last night because of having to help clean the store. I got home close to 1am last night. I got on here, and posted something about it, and than went to bed around 3am. LOL

I can understand how you feel.
When we expect a "Store walk" as they are called, well it's horrible. We have to ensure everything is faced up and looking nice, that all that can go out on the floor has gone out on the floor. Sometimes we also have to clean the shelf where the tags go as well. It usually means we stay over to make sure every little nuiscance is taken care of.
When I worked both up front and as a stock clerk it was worse. I would have to clean up front, making sure everything looked great, and then go back to the back, stock the shelves and make sure everything looked nice for my aisle as well! It was very sore work indeed.
I hope that your sonic location gets a very good review.

@ScribbledAdNauseum IDK I thought that I heard one of the carhops last night say that she might give us money if we get a good review. So, IDK if that's true though. It'd be good if she did though. :P

Yeah, I sure will. And yeah, Sonic Drive-In is here in the states. I see that you're in United Kingdom. IDK if they had a Sonic Drive-In or not. But, we do here in the states. They have delicious foods there. I like their popcorn chicken the best. Of course, they have hamburgers, and cheeseburgers. :)
