Only a user can say about it. No shopkeeper will say that there product is not doing well.

try to buy a new cellphone that could fit into your 1gb memory.try 6630 or the n-series so that you could be able to maximize the full potential of your memory card.otherwise,it will just hang everytime you put applications into your cell.

Its never happened to my Nokia 6600. I do have a 1 GB memory card attached to it, and it works perfectly. Maybe it will hang, if your phone memory is getting short of memory spaces. Just free those phone memory, and the I GB memory card will be just very fine.
