When Manny Pacquio, 8 division boxing world champion and congressman of Saranggani Province was asked if he support same sex marriage. He replied that doesnt agree with same sex marriage and even describe that they far worse than animals. What do you think about this?

@jethrodale some religious people would say he is right because it is written in the bible that man is for woman and woman is for a man. But let us not judge .

@dazzledlady i agree with you. So we just let them be. So we can prevent others think that we are judging their lifestyle and gender

It is his opinion. He has the right to say but must have use other words thats not worse. Anyway, he apologize. No pun intended. We are entitled to say anything we want but just say it nicely.

@jethrodale Yes , the bible is essential as a guiding principle. Laws are the one that should be implemented.

I wonder if Manny was right about what he said or not. Nowadays, is the bible still essential? Since there already enough laws and policies made the government

I know this is old, but he definitely lost a fan for that one. I respect his religion, but being in the public eye, there are ways you can go about saying things that won't cost you your job, sponsorships, etc. From a religious stand point, I understand his feelings/thoughts about homosexuality. What people fail to realize is that in the Holy Bible at least, when homosexuality is brought up, it truly is a sin because it is between adult males and young boys. Not once does it talk about the loving, caring, relationship type homosexuality we have today in the Bible, it is the raping of young boys. That is the sin. People have misinterpreted the text.
