Here I am having my cup of coffee. I must have dozed off and woke up to the smell of frying dried fish. "Tuyo". (In Filipino). My mother must have guessed that I am tired of the usual pork and chicken for dinner. Tonight it's gonna be Fried Tuyo and Steamed rice with vinegar dip. Hmmm..

I never eat dried fish but the thought that your mom is thoughtful enough to cook you dinner somehow wins the night. You are well taken care of and enough reason for you to wake up.

You made me think of buying some right now in a nearby " sari-sari" store, I love the smaller herrings, heated in a wok I prefer "kalamansi" or native lemons for this one
