Keeping someone safe

I have shared in mylot about my father's illness and that he just recently died. Now that he is gone, I am worried about my mother's safety in our own home. Because I and my brothers and sisters will be going back to our respective work and on a different place. She will be left alone together with my grandmother at home . Does the concern for their safety arised. I am more at ease if they have a man at home but since my father is gone. We were thinking of ways how to protect them even if we were away. We thought of installing cctvs at home but it is quite pricey at the moment considerimg that we have a lot of expenses from my father's death. Our temporary fixed was installing a cheap infared alarm that would sound if someone is approaching the door but still its not effective because we cant see who is approaching but at least I think it would help ward off some evildoers. What would you suggest that I should do?

Hiring a trusted maid would be cheap.

Its hard to hire a maid that you can trust nowaday. We also had some bad experiences with maids before.

@dazzledlady Hiring a close neighbor or you could ask your neighbor to check your mother and grandmother once a while and report when something goes wrong.

maybe you could ask someone from your relative or a family friend to take care of her while you guys are away. isnt it not possible for you to take her with you?
