I know that some of you read and commented on my previous posts regarding our fellow Mylotter, Wetnosedogs. She hadn't been active on the site for a while and it turned out that she had suffered a brain aneurysm. Her daughter had messaged me to tell me that she had been delighted to read those posts, and was very touched at our concern for her. If you want to read that message I'll include the link at the bottom of this post. That was three weeks ago and I'd heard nothing more until yesterday, when I was relieved to get another message from her daughter. Here it is: ''Hi there! Thank you again for the posts & keeping the community updated on my mom. She has been doing great & has made great progress! We expect her to be discharged home on March 17th. My youngest brother will be coming on March 9th to stay with her at her house to help out for as long as he needs to. I think when she gets back home and in her environment, she will make even greater progress'' So Yaay for Wetnosedogs. Let's hope that she will be able to join us again here when she regains the use of her right side. http://www.mylot.com/post/2890694/update-on-wetnosedogs-message-from-her-daughter Photo - begonias from my garden for Wetnosedogs.

Thank you for this update Janet. I am so glad that she is coming back home. I am sure she will improve faster at home, the hospital, even the best, are always depressing. My best wishes to Wetnosedogs.

@LadyDuck Yes, once she gets home she will feel a lot better. And of course she will be able to be with her dogs.

That is really SAD for me to read that one is suffering from this condition. I really hope people would pray for her recovery.

That's why I put the brief explanation at the start of the post. I do like 'stand alone' posts, so that if anyone hasn't read the previous one they can still know what's going on. I have missed you and wondered where you were - are you ok?

That is so wonderful, it's so good to hear that she is progressing and once she's back in her own environment with her wetnoses she'll surely start healing in record time, I pray that she will regain full use of her right side. Thanks for the update.

Thanks for the update, I'm glad she's doing so well and that her daughter is keeping you informed. I know of a few people, years ago, that never made it back home or never even made it to the hospital itself. Good thing they got to her in time and it all worked out. I'm sure she'll be very blessed to be back home again and glad one of her kids can come to help.

It's great that she's recovering so well, and that she has loving family around her. (It's not my daughter that's keeping us informed, it's Wetnosedogs' daughter)

@jaboUK I realized it was her daughter not yours. I didn't realize I put that instead. Will fix it.

I have been wondering about this too... Glad to hear that she will be going home soon... Best wishes to her... And one more thing @JaboUK the link you shared should be working as a link. Not just a text like it is being displayed over here. Why it is like that?? Is there something wrong? I mean I thought admins have made changes and now we can add both a photo and a link to our posts. I am curious.

I don't know why the link isn't working, but I presume it's something to do with there being a photo there as well. Though they say we can have both now, perhaps you just have to copy/paste the link? Thanks for your good wishes to wetnosedogs.

So glad to hear that she is doing great and on the road to recovery. That happened to my mom 5 years ago and she still doesn't have alot of feeling on her right side but she still gets around and has a normal life. Hope she will be able to come back to mylot soon when she is capable.
