Annoying Sounds

When I watch TV, or sometimes it watches me, I usually fall asleep, and there are commercials that have ringtones, and beeps that sound like the smoke alarm. Silly me, I check my phone and listen closely if it sounds like the detector. What makes me the most annoyed is I fall for it every time! If they are not selling a phone why use ringtones? And for pity sake, who wants to hear a smoke alarm beeping? Is it just me?

my remote control broke and its hard for me to get up at night to switch it off because of my leg injury. good thing i have a timer.. but i dont normally fall asleep though while the tv is on. its always after the timer went off.

Sorry you are injured, feel better soon. When my remote broke I used. The app from my cable company to change channels.
