Not really because that Gov is an eedget.
Of course he would endorse Trump..they are of the same ilk.
What does surprise me is not a lot these days in the American political circus.

Yeah, my thought was, "Say what?!" @marlina . If Trump wins, he'll probably pick Christie as VP. And I'm sure that's what Trump told him he'd do if Christie backed him.

@nanette64 He is a good guy and I wish he had more of a chance of winning. I personally like Ted Cruz and I really don't like the way Trump is constantly saying that Cruz is a liar.

I am not surprised, I don't like Christie and I think he is just attaching himself to what he thinks is the winning team.

And another person who I can't believe endorsed Trump , was Sarah Palin. I use to like her, but am really wondering about her lately!

This is all over the internet - I'm not shocked he threw his support to his 'neighbor'. Will it come true? We won't know until election day.I am a former Jerseyette and have little to no respect for Christie.

I did read an article yesterday in which Christie was asked why didn't he go after Trump like he did Rubio in their last debate and he sort of hemmed and hawed. What I think is going on is positioning for a Vice Presidential nod.

@marlina Exactly, Marlina. If you ever listen to Glen Beck, he has compared Trump to the Fascist Mussolini that reigned in Italy during World War Two.

It may be shocking to many but I think when people want a change in the political arena, anything is possible.Looking at most of Donald Trump's speeches it seems like the Americans want an aggressive person as their president. But remember that much needed America's greatness comes with a price.

I don't have a horse in this race this time. Trump is a loud mouth, but if he could manage the national debt he could maybe put us in the black. He knows how to run a business. He might can run a country. I'm not voting this year so it makes no difference to me.

I like the introduction when Donald says Mr Christie is a real stand-up.
It's really good for ratings and lots of people gather for the . . . . comedy? It is entertaining as political debates now carry the word "performance". But Mr. Christie is serious and nothing here is hill - lar - e - us welcoming Donald from the private sector to the world of politics.

It was surprising to me yesterday, but today, as I was thinking about it and saw a headline on Breitbart about it, I now think I know the reason why he endorsed Trump. At the debate (right before he dropped out), he was really bashing Rubio. He was being a prick towards him. And, that is usually how Christie is, brash and cocky. And Donald Trump is real brash and cocky. And since Rubio is the Republican establishment's choice, Christie wants to team up with someone like himself to try and bring Rubio down. Also, Trump has probably promised him some position.
This is my opinion.
