I was just about to sign out and go to bed when something popped in my mind. And just want to know your opinion about it.
Earlier today i was talking with my aunt, and we're recalling an event that happen to me 2 years ago. I was on a motorbike, with my friend as a driver and we are on our way to work. the usual traffic is okay but we had an accident with another bike.i felt myself flew a little from the bike to the side of the road and i felt like my limbs are not together. Then the question hit me. Why is it that when your being extra careful on the road, its like you are more prone to accidents?? I raised this question because I have been on a bike before totally drunk with a drunk driver also but not even once i had an accident. Nothing happened, not even a scratch or bump on the head. I know I'm being weird but isn't it a little ironic, that when your drunk, shouldn't you be more accident prone, but your not. and when your sober and just wanted to go to work, then something like that happen. Is it the rule of the universe? Does anyone experience this also in the past?

I just say a prayer before I get into the car and pray for the best, accidents can happen at any time and drunk driving is never a good idea so far you have been lucky but luck can change. Better to be safe.

I think somethings happen with a reason to make us know that not everything is under our control.Let me look at it this way,as a christian,I always remember to ask for God's guidance and protection through the day yet I cannot know if all will be well.So like for your case even if you examine carefully what really went wrong, you cannot get an answer to this.

That was just pure luck. You have to be careful all the time and pray before you go.

thanks. i always pray and make the sign of the cross before i go anywhere. I guess i am really lucky that day of the accident that i haven't got any major damage from the crash.

@abrielle28 but it is still dangerous to do that even though you have not experienced it yet.
