No 1. I may seem out going and not shy but in real life i am really shy. I hate going to large parties where I do not know anyone. I can do small parties if I know some people there and I'm with my son or best friend.
No.2. I love flowers, and gardening and miss that so m uch ensconced here in
this tiresome retirement center.
No.3.I love to write fiction, short stories , poems and love doing graphics so much.
No.4 I was up to lately very trusting of everyone, a bit naive but no more.Since someone made my billfold their damned bank and stole one
hundred dollars I am no longer naive or trusting. i will protect me from now on.
No.4.I believe in the Golden rule, and the ten commandments and try to live my life remembering the lessons my parents taught me.
No.5. I am really short just 5 ft 2 nches and have to get my son to reach high
shelves for me
No.6.I am an introvert and make friends slowly but once I do I'm your friend for life,
No. 7. I feel we are all put on this earth to help others and have tried to do that all my long life. In my working years I worked as a nurses aide and I loved every moment of it.Working with ill people makes you aware of the realities of life and opens your eyes to life.
No. 8. I also love to read and I worked for the last 23 years of my work life as a page in the Tustin branch of the Orange County Library system .I shelved all sorts of media, answered questions and ran errands for the
manager. I loved the job and all the members of our crew.Still my good friends too.

Here is some you have missed -
No 9. - You are one of the most loving persons. (maybe this stems from your No. 6 - once I do, I am your friend for life).
No 10 - At your age, in my country, there are not too many who have the same love for life, energy or the zest. You bring about some serene happiness for me and many others around you.
May you live long with the same great heart with a great health.
Luv yah

@Hatley I know how that can happen. When publishing my first book, I double and tripled checked it, my wife checked it, my editor checked it, and when I got the printed draft back from the printer and went through it I still found a list of things that had been missed. They were all minor, but it's amazing what gets missed when you think you've done a thorough proofing.

@DWDavis , That is so true. If I were to wait until I had a good first draft of even 500 pages I would be reluctant to submit mine for publication. The more I look, the more mistakes I find.

You sound like the type of person I would like. I hope you will watch out for yourself there ... I am so sorry someone would steal your money. Shame, shame on them. Take care

I too do not enjoy large parties. Even if they are all family members, I get a little shy and try to back out of going to it. We are about the same height, I have a half inch over you though. My children were also handy at getting things out of high places. They towered over me. Now my husband gets things for me or I use my trusty reacher that I got when my shoulder was operated on.

I've known you for several years, and I've known just about all of these things about you. However... you TOWER over me I'm 5 foot and about a half to three quarters of an inch. Not to say that my shoes don't add an inch or two and I always try to stand tall. However, I am not above asking tall people in the grocery store to reach things down for me... By the way, the roomie and I went shopping tonight and I ended up with yet ANOTHER box of books!

Thanks for being so open and honest. Maybe I'll do the same if you don't mind. but first I got to take the time to come up with at least 8 things about myself. It would be pretty cool if all our friends on myLot did the same thing we would get to know each other better. I think thats a good thing.

@Hatley , I am sorry to hear you lost money. That is just terrible. My wife got robbed by a pick pocket peddler 2 winters ago around Christmas and I slowly tried my best to compensate her the loss. It was around 600 dollars in a white envelope that went missing after a man was asking for money and had a Bible in the other hand while taking out her money with the other, while others were standing around, including myself not even noticing his slight of hand.

I am also shy in real life. But I am trying my best to deal with it cause it can usually get out of my way.
