Is there a link between using marijuana and keeping beard?

I mean most of the marijuana users i have seen keep beard (say around 80% of them). So it came to my mind: do they all share the same thought process and keep a beard?

Jumping to conclusions is a lot of exercise. Back when I knew them many users were too young to grow a beard, or it was not allowed.
