my own website

I am trying to learn how to use my own website.
Having come up with several wonderful names for blog based websites, I decided to try one on my own.
My younger son is graciously helping me despite all that he is doing in his own life. He has a few web based businesses just getting going and is just about to start his last quarter of college. He is also searching for a house, has roommates and is active in 3 student organizations and has frequent VA appointments due to a disability. Our schedules usually line up on Monday nights for 1 to 3 hours.
Talkingtodragons.com is live, but nothing to talk about yet.
The one thing I really want to learn to make the site better is to be able to manipulate my own photos through Photoshop. It seems like it should be simple, but I am not finding to be.
If someone else is actively using Photoshop or any of the Creative Cloud, please let me know. I would like to see what others are doing. I found someone on here when I was playing who has a blog based site. They said they were already making a small amount on it, but didn't mention the name of the site. And it was before I learned how/where the follow button is. I hate losing things like that. But it happens... A Lot!

If you want to learn to Photoshop your photos, you can try learning through tutorials on YouTube... :) They are easy to follow and learn....

@GlassGirl No worries.....
I can tell you basics of it if you want. I mean as a beginner who has never used the software. Is that are you looking for?

I have tried several video tutorials, but they all seem to start with the idea the watcher wants to improve.. I am needing some really basic instructions, like this button does this and that button does that and if you don't like what you are doing go back by doing this. Once I get there the tutorials I have watched will come in really handy.
But I do want you to know I thank you for the comment.

I will either write posts for pictures I have taken, or maybe go out an look for something to go with what I have written. I just will need to clean them up or otherwise manipulate them.
I feel that I take some pretty good pictures. Not always great ones.

I am actually trying to learn to edit my own photos. A little bit of color popping (which I have managed to do, once in Adobe's Lightroom.) but I also want to be able to combine elements of my own pictures. Once I get decent in those areas the Adobe Creative Cloud I have access to also has Illistrator for "drawing" your own pictures.
