an Old Book that might help you

After signing up successfully here in mylot, Ive search for some books here in the house that will help me improved my english.
While checking the bookshelf , I saw something very interesting. a book that i guess has been there untouched for more than 9 years.
This book is Communication Writing and Speaking. I think this will help me a lot, not only on my english but also on how to write and speak properly. I will make some time to study this book as I really want to be more fluent in English.
Maybe some of you there have lots of books that are not used and has been set aside for years. Take some time to Scan them again, You dont know one of them might help you.

I think learning is a process that we undergo day in day out and so for your case this book is gonna come in handy in furnish your English both in writing and speak.Then mylot is a site that surely improves your writing skills more and more and with your effort of interacting here,you are good to go.

I had that back at college. I scan once in a while but i look at other books too like recipe books,history books on certain places, self-help books. We have encyclopedias and atlases. We have a mini- library in our house.

thats so great of you.
honestly im not that fun of reading books especially those who dont have pictures lol, maybe because there are lot of words that i dont know yet. thats why im still studying.
but when i think of books like in libraries i feel amazed. im interested more on encyclopedias and story books :) a bit in history.

@blue1920 You can always visit the public library to read books with pictures in it. I agree you can learn easily if there are pictures.

@alchemistrx I wish but library here is one hour away from my place. you need to ride a jeepney to be there. i agree with that too, but i think being here in mylot will help me a lot on learning english. I will start on taking down notes all the hard words that are not yet familliar to me.

We have lots of books here that is absolutely untouched,some are 1980's,not sure if there 70's.No one is bothered to open at least one books there except me,hehehe,I brought some in our room and I have read all of them.It's a Health and Home collection.Like you I also want to be fluent in English that is why with me is an online Dictionary Reference whenever I am online so I can see or take a look a meaning of an unfamiliar English words.It actually helps.

Yes, very well said and I am doing this but for a different reason for I will be rereading many nursing books for I may start writing study guide questions for test prep books.
