freedom for ur child????

A while ago we had a walk on the way to market to buy some foods for dinner'' as we were walking we saw some kids I think they were just 5-7 years old, playing along the street and crossing along the road' then I suddenly asked my husband "y do u think their parents just let them play along the road which is dangerous for small kids like them and to think we have also a child with the same age like them?" Then he answered me" maybe their parents just want to give them their freedom to play and to experience many things as a way of learning" do u guys agree with that???

I agree that we should give our children freedom to play and to experience things on their own but not to the point that they are actually being prone to danger. I will let them play but maybe on the backyard or the park where i can monitor them, not letting them play along the road where accidents frequently happens.

Easy target at this age with sick people.. rapes etc!!
I DO NOT agree as a mother of 2 kids myself.
THE PARENTS OBVIOUSLY DO NOT CARE.. But then kids now days dont listen and go off to do their own thing following their friends.
Thats when there needs to be more disapline obviosly.
