He Proposed!!!!

He did it! He did it last night! My son proposed to his beautiful, bright, loving, and sweet girlfriend of three years. We thought it would never happen, but it did! He wasn't sure he wanted to give up his bachelor life, but he saw the light. We are thrilled for them both! The proposal was a private and romantic one. My son lined a pathway in his bedroom with 120 candles, filled with rose petals, which led to a table. On the table was a heart within a heart of candles and chilled champagne with two glasses. When She returned from work, an hour earlier than expected, my son told her to remain downstairs while he took a private phone call. He said that his hand shook as he lit all 120 candles. When done, he called her upstairs, where he was waiting on one knee with ring in hand. She said, "YES!" Dinner out followed. I am so happy for them!

That was a really romantic proposal and I am so happy for the two of them. He sounds like a wonderful young man and she sounds as if she will make a wonderful daughter in-law. congrats all around.

We have saw this story and can image it without killing a brain cell, but as a story listener, I really feel happy for you and for your son and your daughter-in-law, and read your post again and again to stealing happiness and some kind of thrilling feelings from your full-of-happiness-and-thanks-for-giving words, I am a bachelor with a bachelor life, so I am also kind of over-happy, anyways, thanks for sharing and CHEERS!
